Polli Hagenaars is a registered primary healthcare psychologist in independent practice in Amsterdam-NL; a trainer in diversity and non-discrimination; and a supervisor for the post-academic education of health psychologists.
She is the first convenor and still an active member of the Board Human Rights and Psychology of the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA); she co-organized -among others- two conferences on exclusion/inclusion: ‘Frantz Fanon, Exclusion makes Ill’ and ‘Identity, Professionals show their True Colours’ and co-edited the conference books.
She co-organized the expert meeting ‘Human Rights Education for Psychologists', together with the EFPA, the EIUC (European Inter University Centre) and the European Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA). See: humanrightsforpsychologists.eu
